The development of those platforms is to support the ongoing 500-day campaign on accelerating the search for, collection and identification of martyrs’ remains.
According to Viettel Solutions, these platforms are designed to digitize data, standardize operational processes, integrate information from multiple sources, and support nationwide command and coordination of the campaign.

Viettel Solutions engineers are developing software platforms to support the 500-day campaign. |
Among them, the martyrs’ remains sample management system has been completed and deployed on Viettel Cloud infrastructure. Built on a centralized, standardized database with integrated multimedia data, the system records the entire sampling process, including cemetery conditions, grave conditions, excavation activities, grave characteristics, remains characteristics, sample collection and handover.
Information is stored in multiple formats, including operational data, photographs, videos, and supporting documents, and linked to individual sample records. This structure enables more complete, accurate, and consistent data management, providing a reliable foundation for subsequent verification, comparison, and forensic analysis.
Viettel Solutions has also completed the 500-day campaign progress management system, which supports the Prime Minister and leaders at all levels in monitoring, directing, and managing the campaign. The platform features an intuitive dashboard that consolidates key performance indicators, including progress in the search and collection of remains, DNA sample collection, DNA analysis, unexploded ordnance clearance, communications activities, and other key tasks.
Digitizing campaign progress enables the Steering Committee, the Ministry of National Defense, and relevant agencies to monitor developments more effectively, identify bottlenecks, and issue timely, coordinated directives across central and local levels.
Alongside the two completed systems, Viettel Solutions is working closely with relevant authorities to accelerate the development of the remaining three platforms, namely a system for receiving information, documents, memorabilia, and personal effects of fallen soldiers provided by foreign organizations and individuals; a system for receiving information about martyrs and graves submitted by domestic organizations and individuals; and a martyrs and graves information management system.
These platforms are designed with an open architecture that allows information to be submitted from a wide range of sources, including members of the public, veterans, historical witnesses, relatives of fallen soldiers, and domestic and international organizations. Such contributions are expected to become valuable data sources for identifying new leads in the search for, collection, and verification of information related to fallen soldiers.
Apart from software development, Viettel Solutions is also deploying the supporting technology infrastructure and providing training for Viettel personnel across 34 provinces and cities nationwide. These teams assist local Steering Committees 515 in digitizing sample collection records and documenting the handover of remains samples.
To date, hundreds of user accounts have been issued, while thousands of records have been uploaded to the system, helping establish a centralized database for the campaign.
Each digitized record and comprehensively managed case has the potential to shorten the journey toward identifying previously unknown fallen soldiers, helping fulfill the long-standing hopes of their families and the people.
