Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc works with MR7
PANO - On August 7, in Ho Chi Minh City, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc, Deputy Minister of National Defense, chaired a working session with functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 7 (MR7) regarding the development strategy in 2026-2030 period and corporate restructuring.
During the 2021-2025 period, enterprises under MR7 pro-actively overcame difficulties by innovating and implementing comprehensive solutions to reduce costs and boost business efficiency. These units actively sought out new markets and oriented their development to improve competitiveness, increase production and business efficiency, and successfully accomplish assigned tasks. In the 2026-2030 period, the military region’s enterprises are determined to maintain their established traditions and brands, striving to achieve double-digit growth while completing and exceeding their set business targets.

Delivering his concluding remarks at the session, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc acknowledged and commended the achievements of MR7’s enterprises during the 2021-2025 period and the first half of 2026. He requested that the enterprises build on these achievements, improve production and business efficiency, and uphold the image of military enterprises.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc requested the MR7 Command to enhance inspection and supervision to firmly grasp the actual production and business operations of Tay Nam and Dong Hai One Member Limited Liability Companies, ensuring their compliance with legally prescribed business sectors.
Additionally, he directed the companies to rearrange and restructure their agencies to be lean, efficient, and capable of successfully completing assigned tasks. The companies need to thoroughly review and recalculate their business plans, resolutely eliminating outdated business lines to boost productivity and profits, thereby ensuring stable incomes for employees.
