To mark this significant milestone, the Department of Political Education and Information under the General Department of Political Affairs proposed several key cultural and artistic activities. These include releasing commemorative films and organizing film weeks for troops and the public; staging 24 art performances and musical exchanges following the military parade and procession on September 2, 2025, in Hanoi; and collaborating with Vietnam Television to produce a special program titled “Artistic and Cultural Space” with the theme “80 Years of Military Literature and Arts Alongside the Nation.”

The People's Army Newspaper will launch a dedicated section and columns, and coordinate with various units to hold forums and publish in-depth, meaningful articles. The Military Youth Advisory Board will organize a "Back to the Roots" program and an exchange program titled “Raising the Red Flag of August.”

The Military Broadcasting Center will produce three television programs, one special segment titled “Under the Glorious Flag,” three radio broadcasts, and screen five feature films. The Military Arts and Literature Magazine will host a themed event “Poems Written in the Shape of the Nation.” The People's Army Cinema will produce and release a feature film titled “Mua do” (Red Rain). The Military Library will organize exhibitions of books and newspapers, and host discussions and interactive sessions at the library.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To acknowledged and highly appreciated the pro-active efforts of all involved agencies and units in preparation for the events.

Given the limited time remaining and the significant workload, the Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs urged agencies and units to thoroughly implement their assigned plans, concentrate on enhancing the quality of programs, and intensify communication and media coverage of the events.
