PANO - As the Southern region of Vietnam is in the peak of the heat season, the salt-making season begins in Can Gio commune, Ho Chi Minh City.

Salt farming here has been done for generations, becoming part of the memories and cultural identity of the coastal community. Under the scorching sun, salt farmers continue to work diligently while chatting cheerfully with one another. Over the years, they have maintained traditional production tools and methods, creating white salt fields from seawater and forming a uniquely beautiful landscape.

Below are photos of the beauty of salt farms in Can Gio commune.
