In particular, the VEA has made considerable contribution to the cause of national construction, development, and international integration. The association has actively popularized the Vietnamese culture and history, especially Vietnamese literature, to the international Esperanto community and international friends as well. Meanwhile, the association has promoted exchange programs and coordination in different fields.
Recognizing the great contributions of the VEA over the past time, Prime Minister decided to honor the association with the Certificate of Merit for its outstanding achievements in people-to-people diplomacy and in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
