The program aimed to mobilize social resources to take care of policy beneficiaries, national contributors, martyrs’ families and needy people in Khanh Tien commune, U Minh district, Ca Mau province, contributing to effectively implementing the social security work, especially in border and remote areas.

Meanwhile, the organizers provided free health check-ups and medicines for and presented 300 gifts to people with disabilities, blind people, needy households and people.

They granted 50 scholarships, 20 bicycles and 200 gifts to disadvantaged students with excellent academic results. In addition, they gave 30 buckets of water-based paint to Tran Quoc Toan Primary School in Khanh Tien commune and 5 buckets of paint to Khanh Tien Border Station; and donated a house worth VND 50 million.

Also, the program offered free haircuts to local people and organized artistic activities, folk games and others for students.
