Ship SAR 412 saves ill crew-member at sea
PANO - Ship SAR 412 of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (Vietnam MRCC) took an injured crew-member to Da Nang for further treatment on April 9.
The patient was Do Van Hien, a crew-member of trawler QNa 91892 TS, captained by Phan Van Bao from Tam Giang commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam.

Earlier, at 7:00 on April 7, while fishing in the waters of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelago, Hien was partly paralyzed down his left side and could not move.
Having received the information, the Vietnam MRCC mobilized Ship SAR 412 to the scene for the rescue mission. At 18:20 on April 8, the rescue force approached the trawler, gave the victim first aid and took him ashore for further treatment.
