Party membership badge presented to General Le Van Dung

Acting Secretary of the Ben Tre provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council Ho Thi Hoang Yen presents 60-year Party badge to General Le Van Dung.

General Le Van Dung, whose real name is Nguyen Van Noi, was born on December 25, 1945, in Phong My commune, Giong Trom district. When he was 18, he joined the Liberation Army of South Vietnam, becoming a soldier of Company 12, Battalion 3, Binh Gia Group. Two years later, he was admitted to the Party.

During his revolutionary career, General Le Van Dung held many positions. Before getting retired, he served as member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs.

Acting Secretary of the Ben Tre provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council Ho Thi Hoang Yen congratulated General Le Van Dung on the noble reward presented by the Party, which demonstrates the recognition of the Party for his contribution to the Party’s revolutionary cause over the past 60 years.

She hoped that in the time to come, General Le Van Dung will continue to maintain the good virtues of Uncle Ho's soldiers and Party members; always be a shining example for younger generations to follow; and make more contribution to the development of the military in general and the province’s armed forces in particular.
