PANO - General Le Van Dung, Chief of General Department of Politics, had a working visit to the Political Academy.
Lieutenant-General Nguyen Tien Dung, Commandant of the Political Academy, briefed the Chief of the General Department of Politics on the results of Academy’s tasks implementation in 2010.
The General applauded the achievements that the officers and soldiers of the Academy had reached over the past year. He instructed the Academy to regularly renew the contents, programs and training methods, heighten teaching and learning quality to accomplish its core missions of training campaign-level and tactics-level officers, as well as regiment-level and division-level political commissars, military social sciences and humanities teachers in order to meet the demands for the army building in the new period.
General Le Van Dung stressed that the Academy should continue to actively further the reforms in comprehensive, synchronic methods and in the broadest manner, boost science research, and be active in the political and ideological fronts, contributing to building into a politically powerful army.
He also instructed the Academy to add new contents in the 11th Party Congress Resolution to its curriculum and to maintain its status as the national leading center of social science and humanities education, training and research.
