PAN presents tet gifts in Phu Tho province
PANO - On January 23, the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN), in coordination with the authorities of Bang Luan commune, Phu Tho province, and partner organizations including Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (TH Group), Thien Tam Foundation (Vingroup), along with several local enterprises, organized the program “Compassionate Tet – Connecting Love 2026.”
Attending the event were Major General Doan Xuan Bo, Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Army Newspaper; representatives of the leadership of Phu Tho province; leaders of Bang Luan commune; and representatives of the partner organizations.

At the program, the PAN, in collaboration with representative of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (TH Group), presented 388 Tet gift packages worth VND 250 million to disadvantaged people. In addition, the Newspaper, together with the Thien Tam Foundation (Vingroup), presented 200 Tet gift packages, worth VND 120 million in total, to national contributors, needy households, and disadvantaged students in the locality.
Ms. Vu Thu Hang, Director of Communications of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and representative of the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (TH Group), stated that thanks to the connection facilitated by the PAN, partner organizations, including Bac A Bank and the TH Group, had the opportunity to come to Bang Luan Commune and share with local residents. She emphasized that although the gifts may not be large in material value, they embody the sincere sentiments of the PAN and its partners toward the people of Bang Luan, reflecting solidarity and compassion for those facing hardships.
Sharing his thoughts on the program, Pham Chi Ha, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bang Luan commune, noted that the event carried profound humanitarian significance and vividly reflected the fine Vietnamese tradition of unity and mutual support.
