Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Van Thieu announced that by October 2025, the province aims to complete the construction and renovation of 2,883 houses for revolution contributors, 1,760 for low-income and near-poor households, and 176 for ethnic minority families. The initiative requires an estimated budget of nearly 263 billion VND (10.3 million USD).

In 2024 alone, 779 homes were built, allowing vulnerable families to celebrate the Lunar New Year in a safe and secure environment. Notably, within just three months, 100 houses were completed, ensuring that these families had a stable home to welcome Tet.

This initiative not only improves living conditions but also helps fishermen feel secure in sustaining their livelihoods at sea, contributing to poverty reduction and social welfare policies.
