According to the team’s report, in the 2025-2026 dry season, the unit has found and gathered the remains of 27 fallen soldiers. Throughout the mission, officers, personnel, and soldiers have maintained a strong spirit of unity, overcome challenges, and strictly complied with Vietnamese laws, military discipline, and international regulations. At present, information regarding fallen soldiers’ burial sites in Mondulkiri province is becoming increasingly scarce, while many remaining sites are scattered across remote and inaccessible areas, making search operations particularly difficult.
