Sacred mission from soldiers’ heart
PANO - While many spend the National Day holiday with family, officers and soldiers of Team K91 under the Division of Political Affairs of the Dong Thap Provincial Military Command quietly continue their sacred mission of searching for and recovering the remains of fallen soldiers, helping soon bring the fallen heroes back to the arms of the Fatherland and the people.
As part of the “500-Day campaign to intensify the search for, collection, and identification of fallen soldiers’ remains,” Team K91 has conducted searches and collected remains at martyrs’ cemeteries across the province while deploying teams to accelerate the collection of biological samples for DNA testing and identification.
Grasping the profound significance of the mission, the team’s members have demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, pro-actively implemented coordinated measures, and remained determined to overcome difficulties in fulfilling their noble duty to the soldiers who devoted their lives to the nation’s revolutionary cause.
