Nine sets of remains of fallen troops gathered
PANO - The Search and Collection Team of Division 968 have searched and gathered nine sets of remains of fallen soldiers in Tan Dinh village, Cam Thanh commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province since May 20 when the remains of fallen soldier Tran Dinh Cuu was found.

These remains were found 1 to 1.5m underground with intact shinbones and teeth. Among them, seven were buried in wooden trunks, and two were wrapped in jungle hammocks.
Fallen troop Tran Dinh Cuu, born in 1951 and dead on June 12, 1974, was reburied in his home town in Cam Quang commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province.
The division is collecting more information related to the remaining troops and expanding the search for more fallen ones in the locality which used to be the cemetery of a surgical station in 1974.
