In the 2025-2026 dry season, teams K70, K71, K72, and K73 are expected to search for 825 martyrs’ graves in Cambodia.

Addressing the event, Gen. Tam emphasized that the search and repatriation of martyrs’ remains is a sacred political task, reflecting the nation’s moral principle of “When drinking water, remember its source,” and the deep gratitude of the Party, State, and military toward the heroic martyrs.

He urged the teams to remain pro-active and flexible, coordinate closely with local authorities and Cambodian forces, ensure absolute safety for personnel and equipment, and effectively implement the motto of “Pro-actively overcome difficulties, thoroughly resolve each source of information.” The goal is to basically complete the search for areas with available martyr-related information by 2030.
