Major General Doan Quang Hoa and delegates offer incense at the graves of martyrs.

During the two resistance wars against the French colonialists and the U.S. imperialists, a large number of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors performed international duties in Laos. The two militaries and peoples stood side by side to defeat the enemy and regain independence for the countries, contributing to deepening the special solidarity and friendship. By now, 11,000 sets of remains of Vietnamese fallen volunteer soldiers in Laos have been repatriated and buried at the Vietnam-Laos International War Cemetery.
