According to the document, the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Special Task Committee handed over the remains of three Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors recovered by Team K92 during search operations in the province. The remains will be repatriated to Vietnam for memorial and burial services.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Provincial Special Task Committee Le Van Phuoc said the latest recovery results reflected the enduring solidarity, friendship, and effective cooperation between the Special Task Committees of the two provinces. He thanked the authorities, Special Task Committee, armed forces, and people of Preah Sihanouk province for their continued support of Team K92 throughout its mission. 

He also called for closer information sharing and coordination to facilitate the continued search and recovery of the remains of fallen soldiers in the province, contributing to the effective implementation of the 500-Day Campaign to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of fallen soldiers' remains. Since the implementation of the agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Cambodia on the search, recovery, and repatriation of fallen soldiers' remains, Team K92 has recovered and repatriated 2,178 sets of remains from the Cambodian provinces of Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, Koh Kong, and Kep.

Deputy Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province and Head of the Provincial Special Task Committee Sok Pheap praised the responsible and effective cooperation of the An Giang Provincial Special Task Committee and the dedication of Team K92 in carrying out this humanitarian mission. He affirmed that Preah Sihanouk province would continue directing its relevant agencies, armed forces, and local authorities to work closely with their counterparts in An Giang by providing information and supporting search and recovery operations. He said these efforts would further strengthen the traditional friendship between Cambodia and Vietnam, as well as between Preah Sihanouk and An Giang provinces.

Following the signing ceremony, leaders of the two provincial Special Task Committees agreed to maintain their regular coordination mechanism for the search, recovery, and repatriation of fallen soldiers' remains. This cooperation not only honors the sacrifices of Vietnam's fallen heroes but also deepens the friendship, solidarity, and comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Cambodia, laying a solid foundation for future joint recovery missions.
