Veteran journalist Ha Dang is a former member of the Party Central Committee, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, and former Head of the Central Ideology and Culture Commission (now the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization).

On behalf of PAN’s Party Committee, Editorial Board, and all reporters, editors, and staff, Col. Tuan presented flowers and conveyed his warmest wishes to the veteran journalist. He expressed hope that Comrade Ha Dang would continue to enjoy good health and serve as a role model for younger generations of journalists, helping them carry forward the proud legacy of Vietnam’s revolutionary press.

Taking the opportunity, PAN’s leader updated journalist Ha Dang on the newspaper’s recent key achievements, directions, and tasks. He expressed deep gratitude for Ha Dang’s significant contributions to the development of Vietnam’s journalism sector in particular, and to national construction and defense in general. Col. Tuan also expressed hope that, with his wealth of experience, journalist Ha Dang would continue to collaborate with PAN in the future.

In response, journalist Ha Dang expressed heartfelt appreciation for PAN’s visit. He recalled fond memories from his journalism career, including his meaningful collaboration with the soldiers’ newspaper—a publication that holds a prestigious role as the official organ of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, and as the voice of the armed forces and the Vietnamese people. He expressed confidence that PAN’s soldier-journalists would continue to uphold the proud traditions of the heroic Vietnam People’s Army and maintain their status as one of the country’s leading political newspapers.
