In the second phase of the campaign, units under MR5 will continue to construct 80 new houses and repair 110 heavily damaged ones. In addition, 50 teams have been established to coordinate with local authorities in dredging and restoring the intra-field canal system, ensuring water sources for the Winter-Spring crop and helping locals soon stabilize their production activities.
Statistics showed that the recent historic flood in Dak Lak province submerged approximately 150,000 houses, with 653 totally collapsed or severely damaged. Upholding their core role in natural disaster prevention and control, the military forces have undertaken the construction of a total of 231 new houses. This is considered an urgent political task, demonstrating the responsibility of the Party, State and military toward the people in disaster-hit areas.
