More support offered to poor households in Dien Bien
PANO - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS), in coordination with the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), handed over VND 30 million to needy households in Nam Po district, Dien Bien province, on July 14.
The money aimed to support needy people in the locality to build and repair over 600 houses.
With the support, the local authorities will build or repair houses for 615 needy households at a total cost of VND 30 billion.

The project is scheduled to be completed on August 25.
On the same day, leaders of the MPS and EVN, as well as representatives of the local authorities, also handed over a house to Giang A Chu’s family in Pa Tan district.
