MND conducts activities to celebrate 60th anniversary of Binh Gia Victory
PANO - On November 21, the Steering Committee of the Ministry of National Defense (MND)-level scientific seminar marking the 60th anniversary of Binh Gia Victory (December 2, 1964 - 2024), led by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, offered incense in tribute to heroic martyrs at Binh Gia Victory Monument and the temple dedicated to fallen soldiers in Chau Duc district.
In a solemn atmosphere, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh expressed deep gratitude to martyrs for their contributions and sacrifices for national independence. Meanwhile, the delegates vowed to stay united; uphold the revolutionary traditions of the nation, be determined to overcome all challenges and difficulties; and make contribution to building a prosperous and civilized nation, deserving the great sacrifices of former generations.

On the same day in Chau Duc district, Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs, led the Steering Committee to visit and present gifts to families of historical witnesses participating in the Binh Gia Campaign.

Gen. To expressed his hope that these families would continue to uphold their traditions, make active contribution to the development of their localities, and set a bright example for young generations. He also emphasized that the Party, State and people would always remember the great sacrifices of martyrs and wounded soldiers for national liberation and reunification.
