At the ceremonies held at the Truong Son and Road 9 National War Cemeteries (Quang Tri province), Lt. Gen. Pham Truong Son and members of the delegation solemnly observed a moment of silence and expressed their deep respect and profound gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the fatherland.

Members of the delegation pledged that officers and soldiers of the GS in particular, and the entire military in general, would remain united, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and strive to study and train diligently, continuously improving their political stance and professional competence. They are determined to fulfill all assigned tasks excellently, thus contributing to the fulfillment of the dual strategic tasks of national construction and protection.
At the Quang Tri Citadel historic site, the GS's deputy chief and the delegation respectfully offered incense, expressing boundless gratitude for the great sacrifices made by the fallen heroes.

Later the same day, on behalf of the GS leadership, General Son presented symbolic funding from the GS to support the construction of five “great unity houses” (each worth VND 60 million) for local policy families. He also handed over 50 gift packages (each worth VND 1.3 million) to policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged households in Quang Ninh commune, Quang Tri province.
Speaking at the event, GS's Deputy Chief Pham Truong Son emphasized that this was a practical activity, reflecting the Vietnamese traditions of “When drinking water, remember the source” and “The good leaves protect the worn-out ones.” It also demonstrated the gratitude of GS's officers and soldiers, and the entire military, toward the people.
