Particularly, the Quang Ninh provincial Military Command sent more than 1,000 troops, 2,000 militiamen, 28 vehicles of different kinds and nine boats to storm-hit localities to support local people. Thousands of others are also on stand-by. The command also sent three missions to work with local forces to deal with arising problems to minimize human and property losses.

Meanwhile, the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command instructed its units stationed in coastal areas to develop plans to cope with the storm while regularly updating themselves on development of the storm from media platforms to take suitable responses.

The force was also asked to cooperate with local authorities and fishermen to help those working at sea find shelter.

As of the afternoon of July 3, all boats working in Nghe An waters were informed of the developments of the storm and took shelter.
