Military hospitals care for locals’ health
PANO - Military Hospital 175 and its partners carried out a program “Joining hands for community health” in Tan Thanh and Tan Thuan communes, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province on July 9 and 10.
In two days, the hospital’s doctors and nurses gave free health check-ups, counselling, and medicines to nearly 900 local people, using modern medical equipment.

They instructed locals on how to take care of themselves, especially in COVID-19 and dengue prevention and control.
On the occasion, the hospital presented Tan Thanh Border Post of the Binh Thuan provincial Border Guard Command with a youth project named “Herbal medicine garden." It also gave 600 gifts to local policy beneficiaries, households with difficulties and 30 scholarships to students with adversity in life and progress in study.
Also on July 9 and 10, Military Hospital 7A of the Department of Logistics of Military Region 7 and local party committees, authorities held meaningful events during which over 400 policy beneficiaries, poor people in Long Dinh and Long Cang commune, Can Duoc district, Long An province received free health check-ups, medicines and gifts, totally worth over VND 150 million.
The joint force also provided local people with the Party’s guideline on policy work.
These activities of the two military hospitals were to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947-2022).
