Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital cares for policy beneficiaries
PANO - Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital under the Military Medical University in association with the Hanoi Capital Command launched a program on June 25 to provide medical check-ups and free medicines to policy beneficiaries in Bien Giang ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi.
According to Deputy Director of the hospital Senior Colonel Vu Quang Vinh, 40 medical personnel of the hospital and Military Hospital 103 were mobilized to provide health check-ups, consultancy, and free medicines for around 100 wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs’ relatives, and national contributors. In addition, the hospital and Ha Dong district's Military Command presented 10 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to local special policy beneficiaries.
Speaking at the event, Political Commissar of Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital Senior Colonel Truong Ngoc Duong held that the hospital regularly organizes healthcare programs for policy beneficiaries over the past years.
This year event was part of activities to commemorate the 75th anniversary of of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 - 2022). The event was also to help the policy beneficiaries overcome hardships and improve their health and living conditions, he added.
The officer went on to say that the program contributed to tightening the civilian-military solidarity and beautifying the image of military doctors in the current context.
