During the program, the medical staff of Military Hospital 15 and the military-civilian infirmary of Defense-Economic Unit 710 provided medical examinations and health counseling for locals. The services included blood pressure and weight measurements, otolaryngology clinical examinations, ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, health care consultations, among others.

In addition, Defense-Economic Unit 710 presented 50 gifts to policy beneficiary families, ethnic minority households, and disadvantaged families in the area. The total cost of the program was over VND 100 million.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant Colonel Vu Ba Thiet, Head of Defense-Economic Unit 710, emphasized that these activities not only carried profound humanistic meaning, but also demonstrated the responsibility of Corps 15’s officers and soldiers toward the local community, thereby contributing to taking care of the people’s health, consolidating the “people’s heart” posture, and building an increasingly strong border area.
