At Long Dat Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers and National Contributors, General Nguyen Trong Nghia warmly inquired after the health and living conditions of wounded and sick soldiers, expressing profound gratitude for their immense sacrifices and contributions to the cause of national liberation and defense.

He affirmed that the Party, State, and military always attach special importance to caring for wounded soldiers, war invalids, families of martyrs, and national contributors, considering this both a political responsibility and a sacred moral duty of the entire society. He also extended sincere thanks to the Center’s leadership, doctors, nurses, and staff for their devoted care, professional ethics, and compassion, which have helped make the Center a meaningful home for national contributors.

General Nguyen Trong Nghia also visited and extended Tet greetings to officers and soldiers of Minh Dam Regiment and the Defensive Area Command Region 1-Long Binh. He highly commended the political steadfastness and determination demonstrated by personnel of both units in performing their assigned tasks.

He required the units to continue close coordination with local Party committees, authorities, and relevant forces; strictly maintain duty rosters; and avoid passivity or surprise in any situation. The units were urged to make thorough preparations for the 2026 training season and ensure adequate logistical and technical support for all missions.

He further emphasized the need to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress, along with directives and orders from higher levels; improve the quality of Party and political work; promote the “Determination to win” emulation movement; strengthen mass mobilization and policy work; and contribute to consolidating a firm people’s hearts posture in the area. Building clean, strong Party organizations and comprehensively strong, exemplary units, while taking good care of troops’ material and spiritual life during the traditional Tet, was also highlighted.

In Cat Lai Ward, General Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and extended Tet greetings to disadvantaged households, teachers, and students on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. He conveyed wishes to the local Party committee, authorities, and people, while commending the ward’s notable achievements over the past year, particularly its effective implementation of social welfare programs and Tet activities.

At all visited locations, General Nguyen Trong Nghia presented gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to agencies, units, localities, wounded and sick soldiers, national contributors, officers and soldiers, and disadvantaged civilians.
