Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh emphasized that this meaningful and practical activity, held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – 2025), demonstrated the Vietnamese military’s profound gratitude and the tradition of "Remembering the source while drinking water."

It also reflected the deep appreciation of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army for the great sacrifices and contribution made by policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors to the national liberation and reunification cause.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff requested that Military Region 4 Command and Quang Tri Provincial Military Command continue to work closely with local Party committees and authorities to effectively implement the movements "The whole country joins hands for the poor – Leaving no one behind," and "The whole country joins hands to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses."
