Coast guards extinguish fire in Phu Quoc
PANO - The Coast Guard Region 4 Command mobilized its troops to put out a fire in Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province on April 22.
Earlier the same day, while checking the locality, functional agencies of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command discovered a big fire which had the potential to spread, directly threatening the lives and properties of people in the bordering area between the residential area and Toan Hai Van Joint Stock Company (in Suoi Lon hamlet, Duong To commune, Phu Quoc city).

The unit immediately mobilized 50 officers, soldiers, firefighting vehicles, and equipment, to approach the scene and coordinated with local residents to promptly extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading.

After nearly 2 hours, with a high sense of responsibility and utmost efforts, along with effective firefighting plans, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command and other functional forces successfully put the fire under control.
