Dien Bien’s armed forces actively assist flood-affected residents

Regular military units have been deployed in various directions, working alongside the local militia force to build houses for families whose houses were swept away or are at risk of landslides; level the ground and clear inter-commune and inter-village roads; and help schools clean up and repair damaged facilities in preparation for the new academic year.
