Coast guards disseminate information about laws on national sea and islands, and present national flags and portraits of President Ho Chi Minh to fishermen during the event.

In addition, a delegation of the region also worked with local authorities and armed forces to disseminate information about the national sea and islands, and illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, as well as drug prevention and control.

This is an annual activity carried out by the Coast Guard Region 4 Command at An Son island commune, which is aimed at raising public awareness of laws and supporting local residents and students in overcoming difficulties in their daily life.

At the same time, it contributes to strengthening the coordination between the Vietnam Coast Guard, local authorities, and residents in managing and protecting national sovereignty and law enforcement at sea, while fostering military-civilian ties, so as to build a firm defense and security posture, and firmly protect national sovereignty and security at sea.
