CMC, MND delegation conducts gratitude activities in Thai Nguyen

The activity was to mark the 79th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - 2026).

During the event, Lt. Gen. Le Van Huong expressed profound gratitude to the Party committees, local authorities, and people of all ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province, especially those in Phu Dinh and Trung Hoi communes, for their contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause and the development of the Vietnam People's Army.

He affirmed that throughout more than 81 years of establishment, combat, and growth, the Vietnam People's Army has consistently demonstrated the mettle of a revolutionary army, stemming from the people and fighting for the people, serving as a special political force and a steadfast, loyal fighting force of the Party, the State, and the people.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff called on local Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and relevant agencies and organizations to continue providing both material and spiritual support to policy families and people with meritorious service to the revolution. He also encouraged local residents to carry forward the traditions of their homeland and the nation, overcome challenges, and continue contributing to Fatherland construction and defense.

During the visit, the delegation offered flowers and incense at President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and “Doi phong tuong” (General Promotion Hill) at the Dinh Hoa ATK Special National Relic Site, as well as at the July 27 National Historical Site in Thai Nguyen province.
