Presenting gifts to policy families

Da Chais is a disadvantaged commune in Lac Duong district, where 30.5 percent of the households are still living in poverty, with a predominantly ethnic minority population. The commune has a twinning relationship with the Department of Political Affairs of the Army Academy and receives active support from the academy.

During the program, the organizers provided 30 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to policy families. In addition, they conducted medical check-ups and provided free medicines to 100 impoverished households, distributed 20 gifts to underprivileged students, and planted 3,000 cherry blossom trees along a 5km section of National Highway 27C that passes through the commune.

Speaking at the event, Major General Dau Van Nam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Army Academy, stated that the program reflected the compassion and responsibility of the officers, soldiers, and employees of the Army Academy and MBBank Lam Dong toward families facing difficulties in the area. It contributed to enhancing the people's trust, promoting the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers and the heroic tradition of the Army Academy, and supporting the construction of the new-style rural areas in Da Chais commune while strengthening the unity between the military and the local people.
