The academy's leader presenting gifts to policy beneficaries

As a great education-training and scientific research center of the military, the Army Academy has over the past 50 years successfully completed assigned missions. Together with fulfilling political tasks, the academy’s cadres, instructors, staff, and troops have actively fostered production to save money for gratitude activities to help needy troops and local policy beneficiaries and poor households overcome difficulties.

As reported, the academy has built 50 gratitude houses, 30 comradeship houses, and eight great unity houses, with a total investment of VND 5 million, for those recipients. The unit has visited and presented gifts and contributed thousands of workdays to renovate war cemeteries and help locals overcome difficulties and stabilized their life.

According to Deputy Political Commissar of the Army Academy Major General Dau Van Nam, this gift presentation event was a practical activity, showing the care of the Party, State, military, and local authorities for policy beneficiaries who had exerted their efforts, contributed their assets, and even sacrificed their lives and body parts for the national liberation, construction, and defense cause.

It was also to educate current generation, especially the academy’s cadres, instructors, staff, cadets, and troops, about the revolutionary tradition and patriotism, thus motivating them to emulate to obtain more achievements in teaching, studying, and working.
