The delegation included delegates and trainees from the Military Logistics Academy, the Military Medical University, the Military Science Academy, the Commando Officers Candidate School, and the Chemical Officers Candidate School; representatives of the General Staff and the General Department of Political Affairs; Navy’s officers and soldiers; as well as military reporters.

At the destinations, unit commanders reported on their task performance results in 2025 and the first four months of 2026. Accordingly, the units have strictly maintained combat readiness, training, and discipline. They have successfully implemented the “Greening Truong Sa” program and paid particular attention to farming and production. Mass mobilization work has been carried out effectively, providing timely support for fishermen with fresh water, healthcare, food, and necessities.
Representatives of the delegation visited, presented gifts, and highly appreciated the forces’ spirit of overcoming hardships and their combat readiness to firmly protect national sovereignty. The delegation expressed confidence that troops and people on the islands and platforms will continue to uphold traditions, heighten vigilance, build comprehensively strong units, and serve as a solid fulcrum for fishermen to cling to the sea.
During the voyage, the delegation held a solemn memorial ceremony for officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for national sea and island sovereignty. In addition, many exciting activities took place, such as a contest exploring the national sea, islands, and the heroic Vietnam People’s Navy; birthday parties for teammates; and cultural, chess, and writing competitions. The organizing panel awarded five collective and 23 individual prizes. The musical exchange nights on Ship 561 (Squadron 411, Brigade 955, Naval Region 4) and at the destinations provided meaningful spiritual nourishment for frontline troops and people.
Concluding the trip, the Naval Service awarded the “For the cause of protecting national sea and island sovereignty” badge to seven individuals and the “Truong Sa Soldier” badge to 165 individuals. The 2026 working trip was highly successful, achieving its set goals and ensuring absolute safety.
