Following the announcement of the relevant decisions, General Phan Van Giang presented 35-year Party membership badges to Deputy Defense Ministers: Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Truong Thang, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Hien, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Quang Ngoc and Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Gau; as well as Major General Le Van Thuan, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Central Military Commission and the MND Office.

On behalf of the Party and State leadership, the CMC and MND, General Phan Van Giang congratulated the recipients on receiving the noble award from the Party. He emphasized that the 35-year Party membership badges represent a high honor and recognition of the Party, State, CMC and MND for their contribution and dedication to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the military. The badges are not only a source of honor and pride for the individual Party members receiving them, but also a source of honor and pride for the Military Party organization.
General Phan Van Giang noted that those receiving Party membership badges on this occasion, regardless of their positions, have remained steadfast in their faith and absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; demonstrated dedication and devotion to their duties; upheld the qualities and standards expected of Party members and military officers; and strived to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, deserving the trust of the Party, State and people.
In their respective positions and responsibilities, the officers have worked alongside the CMC and MND leadership in maintaining solidarity in leading, directing, managing and commanding the building of a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern Viet Nam People’s Army. They have contributed to building a politically, ideologically, organizationally, ethically and personnel-strong Military Party Organization, thereby enhancing the military’s overall quality and combat strength. In particular, they have advised the Party and State on numerous important policies concerning military and defense affairs, international integration and defense external affairs, meeting the requirements of building and firmly safeguarding the Fatherland.
