Vinh Phuc launches defensive area exercise

The exercise’s theme is “Shifting the armed forces to higher combat readiness postures, shifting the localities to the national defense posture, collaborating with key forces of the military region to prepare and conduct defensive operations.”

Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff attended and chaired the exercise.

The two-day event was held to raise the local officials', Party members' and people's awareness of military-defense missions as well as enhance collaboration among the authorities, the armed forces and people in building and operating the defensive area.
