At the conference of the Vietnam – Russia Tropical Center

Reports at the event revealed that in 2022 the Party Committee of the Vietnam – Russia Tropical Center has strictly studied and carried out resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense and guidance of functional agencies. The Party Committee has pro-actively and flexibly issued guidelines and measures to lead the unit complete all assigned missions.

Regarding science and technology mission, the Party Committee has directed the center to conduct 49 joint research projects between Vietnam and Russia and 93 projects and missions in Vietnam. The cooperation in science and technology with military units and localities have been expanded and obtained positive results.

It has focused on building Party Organization and raising the quality of personnel and Party members to meet task requirements. 

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh acknowledged and praised achievements obtained by the Vietnam – Russia Tropical Center in 2022. He asked the center to continue to thoroughly study and effectively implement higher levels’ documents, especially the Central Military Commission’s Resolution on leadership over military and defense tasks and building the Military Party Organization in 2023 as well as scientific and technological tasks assigned by the State, the Ministry of National Defense and the Coordination Committee.

He said that the center’s Party Committee should have guidelines and measures to renew operation methods and focus direction on national and Ministry of National Defense programs and tasks and technology transfer. 

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff asked the center’s Party Committee to pay attention to building Party Organization politically-, ideologically-, organizationally-, and ethically-strong to meet task requirements in 2023 and years to come.
