A number of keepsakes received at the ceremony 
Fifty donated objects include some belongings of General Van Tien Dung, former Politburo member and former Defense Minister; a book and a piece of parachute cloth of Major General Tran Cong Man, former Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army; a bust of fallen soldier Nguyen Nhu Trang who joined the 60-day historical resistance campaign in Hanoi in winter 1946; and a diary of Martyr Do Dinh Xo.

The Vietnam Museum of Military History received these precious objects on the occasion of the 70th Vietnam Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - 2017).

Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Xuan Nang, the museum’s director, sent his thanks to the donators. He also affirmed that the museum will preserve and promote the values of the objects and display them at important events, contributing to educating tradition for youths.
