Attending the meeting of Military Region 3 (MR3)’s Party Committee, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, GS Chief and Deputy Minister of National Defense, applauded MR3 for its outstanding achievements gained last year. He requested its Party Committee to grasp, evaluate, and forecast situations, particularly in border areas, at sea, on islands, and in key localities. The whole military region must observe combat readiness regulations and pro-actively devise plans, prepare forces and vehicles to stand ready in response to disasters and incidents.

MR3’s Party Committee was also asked to direct the building of the whole-people defense posture coupled with the firm people’s security disposition, team with local party committees and authorities to improve quality of local defense-military task performance, effectively realize the Politburo’s resolution on socio-economic development while ensuring defense and security in the Red River Delta by 2030 with a vision to 2045. It should also concentrate on building strong reserve and militia forces, ensure safety at major political events of the Party, country, and military, as well as adjust the force in the elite, compact and strong direction.
Hailing MR5’s good results in 2024, Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien noted that MR5’s Party Committee should give timely advice to higher levels to effectively resolve military and defense-related situations, increase synergy, combat strength of the local armed forces. In the immediate term, it should ensure that troops will have a cozy, healthy, safe, economical and high combat readiness lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

At the politico-military conference of Corps 12 (Truong Son Construction Corporation), Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San highly appreciated the corps’ attainments last year. Regarding this year’s tasks, the defense leader urged its Party Committee and Chain-of-Command to pay due attention to political education, sustainable and comprehensive development, striving to be one of the leading enterprises in basic infrastructure construction, expansion of markets as well as progress and quality of its projects, helping shine the good virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the economic front.
Directing the meeting of Corporation 319’s Party Committee, GS Deputy Chief Sr. Lt. Gen. Phung Si Tan asked the unit to reach all of its goals set for 2025 and build a strong brand in housing construction.
Last year, Corporation 319 achieved over VND 10,025 billion in turnover and over VND 53 billion in pre-tax profit.

Huynh Chien Thang asked it to closely coordinate with local relevant forces to uphold political security, border security and rural security in the stationed areas. It should also lead its affiliates to effectively produce products and do business, give priority to recruiting ethnic people, and improve the life of its personnel, local policy families, national contributors and people.

Praising Dong Bac Corporation for its accomplishments over the past year, Deputy Director of the GDP Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh urged the company to build production and business strategy and plan for the 2026-2030 period and the following years and achieve all targets approved by the MND.
