General Luong required the units to implement key tasks in an effective and comprehensive manner, contributing to the maintenance of political security, social order, and safety in the locality. He also emphasized the need to coordinate with local authorities and functional forces in the implementation of Task 1389, particularly in promoting efforts to prevent and address illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing activities. The defense leader called for proactive, resolute measures to combat crime and law violations in border areas, at sea, and on islands.

Meanwhile, the units were asked to enhance law dissemination and education for troops and local people, in conjunction with effective implementation of mass mobilization work. They were also instructed to maintain proper mechanisms for citizen reception and the resolution of complaints and denunciations in accordance with regulations, and to handle petitions effectively.

On this occasion, the delegation visited and presented gifts to troops at the Nam Du and An Thoi Border Posts (Kien Giang province), Naval Squadrons 401 and 422 (Coast Guard Region 4), and Radar Station 600 (Naval Region 5).

The delegation also offered incense and flowers at the Phu Quoc Prison historical relic site in Phu Quoc City and paid tribute to victims of Typhoon No. 5 (in 1997) in An Son commune, Kien Hai district, Kien Giang province.
