According to a report delivered at the event, this year, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command has led its affiliates and troops to promote democracy, heighten responsibility, pro-actively overcome difficulties and complete all tasks in a comprehensive manner.
Addressing the event, Gen. Chien applauded the Vietnam Coast Guard Command’s Party Committee for their leadership outcomes, particularly in activities related to sea and islands and maritime law enforcement, resulting in good international integration, external affairs, helping maintain regional peace and stability.
The CMC permanent member asked the Party Committee of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command to thoroughly grasp the Party, CMC, Ministry of National Defense (MND)’s resolutions and directives, closely follow the development of regional situations, team up with forces to uphold discipline in any circumstances, and direct its units to make breakthroughs in task implementation. He requested it to focus the leadership on improving the quality of combat readiness training, professional expertise of troops, developing more measures against illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
* In 2024, the Party Committee of the General Department of Technical Services (GDT) has led the unit to carry out all working aspects comprehensively, gaining achievements in ensuring technical supplies for training, combat readiness, parade missions, particularly during the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 50th founding anniversary of the GDT, during which the department received the Ho Chi Minh Order.

In his speech, Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh hailed the GDT’s Party Committee for its leadership guidelines and solutions to fulfill all assignments.
Regarding missions for the next year, Gen. Vinh asked it to effectively perform its strategic role, give more suggestions to the CMC and MND on ensuring technical conditions for missions to meet the requirement of building an elite, compact, and strong military, direct the unit to comprehensively and effectively carry out key programs and achieve targets, as well as make preparations for the Party congresses at all levels in the 2025-2030 period.
* Speaking at the meeting of the Party Committee of Military Region (MR) 2, Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San spoke highly of the MR’s military and defense task performance, especially the deployment of troops and vehicles for relief efforts, contributing to spreading the value and image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new period.

At the meeting held by the Party Committee of the Signal Corps, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son congratulated it on the excellent task implementation in 2024. He asked the corps’ Party Committee to continue to lead the improvement of the quality of research and forecasting; pro-actively make proposals to the CMC and MND on planning and developing signal system, promoting the implementation of the strategy on developing the military signal system in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2045 in a comprehensive and modern manner that matches the Fatherland defense strategy in the new period.
