The conference was chaired by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff.

In carrying out the task of organizing forces for the parade on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, the General Staff directed the Department of the Military Training and School Management to draft a directive on organizing and training the military and militia forces to take part in the parade. The conference also discussed and agreed on uniforms, equipment for each formation, gathering points, parade routes, and the arrangement of training locations for each formation, among others.

Concluding the conference, General Nghia instructed the relevant agencies and units to thoroughly implement each assigned task. The General Department of Logistics and Technical Services will conduct a comprehensive inspection of accommodation and dining facilities for the troops during the training period.

The defense leader added that any arising issues must be promptly reported to the General Staff and Ministry of National Defense to handle in timely and effective manner. He requested the General Department of Defense Industry to propose and produce the necessary materials, technical equipment, and vehicles to ensure full supplies for the parade and the Hanoi Capital Command to survey the marching routes and post-parade gathering locations.

Gen. Nghia also noted that parade training will take place under harsh weather conditions, so agencies and units must develop flexible and scientific training plans to achieve high efficiency while ensuring the health of the troops.
