The activity was under the programs “Clean up the sea” and “Green Sunday” regularly carried out by the border post with the aim of promoting the vanguard and voluntary role of local Youth Union members and border troops in environmental protection for a green, clean, and beautiful beach.
The joint forces teamed up with local people to collect over three tons of rubbish, plastic waste, and bottles along more than 4km of the coastline.
They also raised locals and tourists’ awareness of environmental protection.
On the occasion of the 73rd Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers’ and War Martyrs’ Day (July 27), the Dien Thanh Border Post presented gifts to four policy households with contributions to the national revolution.
