Reportedly, life in Na Co Sa commune in Dien Bien province is extremely difficult, as the poverty rate in the commune is nearly 80%. There are 1,015 households (5,883 people) and of the six ethnic groups living in 11 villages, including of the Mong, Thai, Kinh, Dao, Muong, Tay, and Khang living in 11 villages.

Over the past time, the Na Co Sa Border Post has implemented many meaningful activities to support households in the commune, such as presenting rice to people in need and building roads.

Via the program, the border troops hope to help the local people diversify their seedlings, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the locality.

* On the same day, the Chau Khe Border Post of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Chau Khe’s Party organization and authorities (Con Cuong district), handed over breeding pigs to needy households in the border area.

Accordingly, five breeding pigs weighing from 10-13kg were presented to five households in need in Khe Nong residential area, Chau Son village, Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district to help them develop their economy, eradicate poverty, and stabilize their lives.
