According to an officer of the command, this was the first time the unit has organized this meaningful activity. The event aimed to ease blood shortages amid the complicated development of COVID-19.
The event demonstrated the nobility and responsibility for the community of local border troops.
Reportedly, the collected blood from the drive will be sent to Military Hospital 175 and the Truong Sa (Spratly) infirmary.
