During the nearly one-week long course, participating cadres will be introduced to a system of training content including infantry tactics; arms and services-level techno-tactical skills; line-up regulations and troop management regulations; physical training and sports; political education; logistics and technical support; digital transformation.

They will have fact-finding trips to observe some demonstrations of prominent weapons and technical equipment produced by Vietnam’s defense industry sector. These fundamental areas aim to enhance the comprehensive knowledge of the contingent of military cadres, thereby improving their ability to organize and direct troop training in close alignment with the missions and actual conditions of their respective units.

In his direction speech, Gen. San asked the organizing committee to strictly and seriously implement the training program in accordance with the approved plan and schedule. The training process should focus on new content and areas that are still weak or insufficient, ensuring alignment with the requirements of operations in high-tech warfare conditions. He also emphasized the need to thoroughly research and unify training organization methods, as well as safety measures for training and exercises. He requested participating cadres to fully absorb the content, combining classroom learning with self-study and fostering creative thinking.

After the course, agencies and units are required to conduct follow-on training for their affiliates, promptly applying newly-acquired knowledge to training and education to achieve high results and uniformity across the entire military.
