Thousands of key staff receive refresher courses on Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces
PANO – The Department of Militia and Self-Defense Forces under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army in association with relevant agencies has issued numerous documents on directing militia and self-defense affairs as well as security-defense education in ministries, sectors and localities.
Particularly, the agency has released papers instructing the implementation of the 2019 Militia and Self-Defense Force Law, four directives of the Prime Minister, and seven instructions from the Minister of National Defense, while launching refresher courses on the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces for nearly 10,000 key staff at all levels.
In addition, the agency has actively provided advice for higher levels and directed relevant units and localities to build strong and well-organized militia and self-defense forces nationwide.
