The event was to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025).

An activity of the event

The program aimed to widely promote the glorious revolutionary tradition of the nation, arouse pride and strengthen youth’s trust in the leadership of the Party and the State. It also created a joyful, united atmosphere among officers and members of youth and women’s organization; contributed to improving the spiritual life of troops; and encouraged the dynamism, creativity, and pioneering spirit of young officers and youths in building a strong and healthy Party organization and successfully fulfilling all assigned tasks. 

The event was divided into two parts. Part 1 featured sports exchanges, including a volleyball match between the youth members of Engineering Company Rotation 4 and VNDPKO’s staff. Part 2 was the Youth Gala Night, which included cultural and artistic performances, games, culinary activities such as traditional dish displays and cooking contests among different teams, a traditional campfire, as well as singing and dancing programs.

Outstanding teams honored at the event

VNDPKO’s Deputy Director Senior Colonel Nguyen Ba Hung said that this gala night was the opportunity to recall the glorious traditions of the nation, the Vietnam People’s Army, and the VNDPKO, thus igniting patriotism, national pride, and determination among the younger generation.
