In his remarks, Sr. Lt. Gen. Trinh Van Quyet underscored that April marks many significant events of the Party, the State, and the military. The whole military has carried out Party and political work in a comprehensive, synchronous manner, closely following military and defense tasks, while accomplishing both regular and unexpected tasks, including activities in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025).

The GDP Chief required that in May, agencies and units should closely follow the situation and strictly implement the set plans and programs; focus on raising the quality and efficiency of political and ideological education; collect feedback on the military’s activities in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day to be used as a foundation for developing plans and programs to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day (September 2).

* On the same day, the GDP’s leadership organized a meeting to give opinions on the draft Regulation of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the organization of Party structures and political agencies in the Vietnam People’s Army and discuss several issues related to preparations for Party Congresses at all levels.
